In this Thailand package tour, your fascinating journey begins with a trishaw ride around Chiang Mai town to explore its ancient city walls, bustling markets and historic temples. Ascend the mountain by a local songtaew to sample a local Arabica brew at a hilltop coffee research project and observe the colorful hill tribe traditions at a white Hmong village. Spend a magical evening at the highly revered Wat Prathat Doi Suthep temple, where you can join the saffron-robed monks in a private blessing ceremony and enjoy magnificent panoramic views of a glittering town at dusk.

• Day 1 - Arrival Chiang Mai

  Upon your arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, you will be welcomed by your MinMax travel guide and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy an orientation tour of the ancient Chiang Mai town on a trishaw. We will then drive up the mountain by songtaew to visit Chang Khien Coffee Research Project and Chang Khien white Hmong village. In the afternoon, head to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep temple to view its glided architecture before taking part in a private blessing ceremony at dusk.
  Stay overnight in Chiang Mai.

  Day 2 - Chiang Mai - Mae Taeng - Chiang Mai

  Place Transport: Car->Elephant
  Meals: Breakfast - Lunch

  This morning, drive north to a Lisu village where you will start a leisurely cycling excursion across the countryside. At Mae Taeng River, meet your elephant and ride on its back through the lush jungle to a scenic spot for picnic lunch. Following a brief training session, board a rubber raft and paddle down the meandering river. Disembark at an Akha hill tribe village to enjoy tea with a friendly family before cycling back to the Lisu village. Return to Chiang Mai this afternoon.

  Day 3 - Chiang Mai - Mae Kampong

  Meals: Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner

  Today, drive through the picturesque countryside to Mae Kampong village in the mountains. You will be warmly greeted by the villagers who will lead you on a guided hike through the community forest to enjoy a picnic lunch by a cascading waterfall. This afternoon is for an exhilarating optional activity- The Flight of the Gibbon- a fun zip-line adventure over the tree tops. Then, return to the homestay to relax with a traditional Thai massage before joining your host family to prepare dinner.
  Stay overnight in Mae Kampong.

  Day 4 - Mae Kampong - Chiang Mai Departure

  Place Transport: Car->Airplane
  Meals: Breakfast

  Rise early this morning and enjoy a hot breakfast amidst the misty valley. Accompanied by your hosts, take a walk around the village to view the processing of fermented tea leaves and making of various handicrafts. Then, return to Chiang Mai with a stop en-route at Sankampaeng Hot Springs, a popular recreation spot for locals. Finally, transfer to the Chiang Mai Airport for your onward flight.
