Then, you'll enjoy a relaxed tour of the nearby Grand Palace with its many colorful halls, temples and artifacts including the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.

    Day 2 - Bangkok

    Today, your Bangkok adventure begins with a walking tour of Chinatown, as you visit unique markets, Chinese temples and tea shops. Travel through the city's famed canals and witness traditional Thai living before visiting the iconic Wat Arun. This afternoon, you're free to explore Bangkok's attractions at your own pace.

    Day 3 - Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Uthai Thani

    Drive to legendary Ayutthaya, the capital of Thailand for more than 417 years, stop at a tranquil former summer palace built by King Rama IV en route. You'll visit Ayuthaya Historical Park's ruined temples and sample some local delights in the Muslim quarter. Enjoy a pleasant riverside lunch before boarding a leisurely longtail boat ride to Bang Pa where you can explore the majestic Royal mansions. Proceed to Uthai Thani in the afternoon.

    Day 4 - Uthai Thani - Phitsanulok - Sukhothai

    Head-up the mountain to visit Wat Sangklat Rattanakhiri for the magnificant bird-eye view of Uthai Thani. We then head to see the Crystal and Golden Halls of Wat Tha Sung before continuing to Koh Tepo which is a community famous for their incense stick making and local lifestyle. Enjoy lunch onboard the rice barge cruise while slowly flat on the Sakraekrang River. This afternoon, drive to Phitsanuloke to visit the Thailand's most famous Buddha image and folk museum.
    Depart to Sukhothai in the late afternoon.

    Day 5 - Sukhothai

    Sukhothai is a name meaning dawn of happiness, was founded in the 13th century and became the kingdom's first capital, overseeing a period known as the golden age of Thai history.
    Visit Ramkamhaeng National museum before proceeding to Sukhothai Historical Park, see the main sites and some important ruins.

    The sumptuous local organic lunch is served in traditional Thai style at the open Sala overlooking the rice fields. Visit the seasonal orchid greenhouse, and see the live demonstration of the ceramic making and textile weaving.
    Then dress up in the distinctive indigo colored cotton Thai Farmer uniform and get the hands dirty in the organic rice farm transplanting rice seedlings, harvesting, or milling rice, there is also an opportunity to plough the paddies with water buffalo.

    Day 6 - Sukhothai – Sri Satchanalai - Chiang Mai

    A short drive north will bring you to the Si Satchanalai Historical Park on the bank of the Yom River. You'll enjoy a leisurely tour of this ancient town, where 134 ruined monuments have been discovered. After lunch, you'll continue your overland adventure as we take you to check-in to your Chiang Mai hotel.

    Day 7 - Chiang Mai

    Spend this morning exploring Chiang Mai's sights and sounds as you visit ancient temples, markets, Thai style residential areas, unique architectural gems and bustling main street before heading to a local orphanage. This afternoon, we will take you up the mountain to visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep which is the most famous and sacred temple in northern Thailand as well as a traditional Hmong village.

    Day 8 - Chiang Mai - Elephant Camp

    Enjoy a real Thailand experience today as we take you on an elephant ride though thick forests and visit a local elephant camp before heading to the Mae Ping River for a leisurely bamboo rafting ride. After lunch you'll visit a beautiful orchid nursery and a colorful butterfly farm.

    Day 9 - Chiang Mai - Golden Triangle

    Today, you'll travel east by minivan to the lovely Mae Kampong village which sits 1,300 meters above sea level and boasts a cool climate all year long. Upon arrival, meet some of the villagers and learn more about Thai culture before visiting a local waterfall. After lunch and a short rest, you'll have a chance to enjoy the mountain scenery as we drive you to Chiang Rai.

    Day 10 - Chiang Rai - Mae Sai - Chiang Saen - Chiang Rai

    After breakfast, we'll bring you to the bustling Mae Sai where you can check out an intriguing Burmese border market before heading to the infamous Golden Triangle. Find out about the area's sordid past at the Opium Museum then continue to the 13th century ruined city of Chiang Saen and the heart of the Golden Triangle. Your day of travel in Thailand ends with a boat ride along the Mekong River to get a closer look at Laos and Burma - experiential travel at its best.

    Day 11 - Chiang Rai Departure

    Day 2 - Tonle Bati & Ta Prohm Temples

    Depart from Phnom Penh to Tonle Bati. Visit the laterite temple of Ta Prohm which was built by King Jayavarman VII (ruled 1181 to 1201), on the site of a 6th century Khmer shrine. The main sanctuary consists of five chambers within each is a lingam. Then, visit Yeay Peau temple, named after King Ta Prohm's mother which is located 150m north of Ta Prohm.
    Visit a silk weaving village before proceeding to Prasat Neang Khmao. Visit Prasat Neang Khmao, the temple of the Black Virgin (10th century). Return to Phnom Penh.

    Day 3 - Sihanouk Ville

    Today, you drive straight down to Sihanouk Ville. Check in and it's time for relax. The lovely beaches of Sihanouk Ville are some of the most unspoiled in all of South East Asia. There are some 10 km of beach stretching the whole length of the town and dozens of small islands, just a short boat ride away, which make for a perfect tropical getaway with facilities for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving. This free day will provide you some great opportunities to soak up the sun and sea as much as you want by spending your time to swim or relax on a beach. Stay overnight in Sihanoukville.

    Day 4 - Sihanoukville - Phnom Penh Depature

Laos tours of down the Mekong

    Transfer from the Chiang Rai airport to Chiang Khong. After passing through immigration, you cross the Mekong River to Houei Say in Laos where your Lao guide will be waiting for you at the immigration point. After completing border formalities, you board a ready traditional boat for the trip down the Mekong River. As you cruise down the river, you will stop at some tribal minority villages such as the Hmong, Yao and Khmu. Stay overnight in Pakbeng.

    Day 2 - Pakbeng - Pak Ou Cave - Luang Prabang

    As you sail from Pakbeng to Luang Prabang, you will pass areas of virgin forest with hill tribal villages along the riverbanks and perhaps the odd elephant or two with his mahout. You'll visit a fishing village and a rice wine making village and perhaps even taste some of the infamous beverage known as Lao Rice wine. Then you'll visit the Pak Ou caves. After that, you'll spend the day visiting Wat Xiang Thong- the most important Buddhist monastery in the country. Stay overnight in Luang Prabang.

    Day 3 - Luang Prabang City Tours - Khouang Si Waterfall

    Explore Wat Visoun, Wat Khili and Wat Mai. Later, visit the former Royal Palace. It now is a National Museum where you will find ornate, gilded and brocaded reception rooms as well as Buddha and spectacular artifacts including the Prabang- a large holy image which was given in the 14th century by the Khmers to King Fa Ngum. At sunset, climb the nearby temple-topped hill of Phousi where you'll catch a lovely view out over the town and the river. We get out the town to experience local lifestyle of Luang Prabang Villages and the most beautiful waterfall in Luang Prabang. On the way, visit Phosi Market where you will see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. After that, visit local village of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay and Ban Thapene and the weaving village of Ban Phanom. If time permits, you may also want to drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths. Return to Luang Prabang city in the late afternoon and visit Street Night Bazaar. Stay overnight in Luang Prabang.

    Day 4 - Luang Prabang - Vientiane City Tour

    We stroll around and visit the Silver smith's and the Central Market in the morning (if time permit) before we catch a flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival, we see the major temples including the oldest Wat Sisaket- a temple of thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo which was previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous, sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument which is Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph. Enjoy sunset by Mekong Riverside. Stay overnight in Vientiane.

    Day 5 - Vientiane Departure

    Halong Bay is one of the wonders of the world with over 1,500 km2 and 3,000 islets. Many tales have been woven about the creation of Halong Bay, or Bay of Descending Dragon. Folk law describes that, the Bay is islands and islets were created when dragons, sent by gods, spat jewels and jade into the area to protect Vietnamese from invaders. Transfer to the World Heritage site of Halong Bay by car.

    Board a deluxe junk, touching a luxury junk cruise experience, with its design based on the Ancient Chinese Sail-Boat Style, perfectly built by wood, stone and bronze in harmony between tradition and luxury.     In the early morning, participate in a Tai Chi class on the sundeck, or relax with a fresh cup of coffee as you view the awakening of Ha Long Bay's local fishermen. A wholesome breakfast is served as you cruise back to Ha Long City where you disembark and return to Hanoi. In the evening, depart for the train station to catch the sleeper train to the northwest town of Lao Cai. Stay overnight aboard the train.

    Day 4 - Sapa arrival

    In the morning, you will arrive in Lao Cai and go to to Sapa. Here, in the terraced hills and mountains, the monotony of the expansive green landscape is brightened by the colors of the area's native hill tribes. Take a morning walking tour of Sapa town and visit the busy market where the ethnic minority people converge to sell their embroidery, silverware, and handicrafts. Stay overnight in Sapa.

    Day 5 - Sapa – Laocai – Hanoi

    This morning, set out on a light trek to discover Sapa's lesser-known areas. Along the way, enjoy the breathtaking scenery of mountain rice terraces, waterfalls, and buffaloes working in the fields. As you cross rivers by suspended bridges and traverse rolling hills, look for views of Vietnam's highest point -Mt Fansipan. It is the last major peak of the Himalayan chain.In the afternoon, return to Sapa town where you have the rest of the day at your leisure before transferring to Lao Cai for the overnight train to Hanoi.     Day 6 Hanoi

    Upon arrival in Hanoi, check-in, freshen-up, have breakfast at your hotel.Today, discover the famous monuments and hidden gems of Hanoi starting with a visit to the former house of Ho Chi Minh and his mausoleum. Continue to the enigmatic wooden- One Pillar Pagoda before stepping back in time as you walk through the peaceful Temple of Literature with its well preserved architecture. Then travel by cyclo through the bustling area of the Old Quarter. This afternoon is free to discover the art galleries, cafes or local markets at your leisure. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

    Day 7 - Hoa Lu – Tamcoc

    Have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Ninh Binh province for visiting Ha Long bay in land. En route, stop a visit to Thung Nang (valley of the Sun) – a perfect replacement for the trip to Tam Coc, which now becoming too touristy. Take a traditional boat for a boat cruise on the river which elegantly curves between the karstic hills and rice plantations. After the lunch, transfer to Gia Vien district for the visit of King Dinh and King le temple. This evening, attend a performance of Hanoi's Mua Roi Nuoc, literally 'puppets that dance on water'. This traditional form of entertainment dates back as far as the tenth century and originated in Northern Vietnam. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

    Day 8 - Hanoi departure

Kanchanaburi Tour 3 days / 2 nights

Kanchanaburi, which is located where the Khwae Noi and Khwae Yai rivers converge into the Mae Klong river, spans the northern banks of the river and is a popular spot for MinMax Travel’s travelers, its location at the edge of a mountain range keeping it much cooler than the other provinces of central Thailand. The city has two major commercial districts: the downtown area consists of a grid of several streets with office buildings, shop fronts, and a shopping mall; and the riverfront area businesses are mostly located further west along River Kwai Road. Once a year a carnival comes to town and is set up in the area next to the bridge

  • Day 1 - Kanchanaburi Arrival

    Meals:
    MinMax Travel pick you up at airport and depart to Kanchanaburi. Visit to the World War II Museum, Cemetery of the Allied Prisoners of World War II and followed by a visit of the World famous bridge over the River Kwai. Arrive in Kanchanaburi. After lunch, take a short long-tailed boat trip up stream the Kwai Noi River to visit the Kaeng Lawa Cave and explore the formation stones. Back to hotel. Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

    Day 2 - Kanchanaburi:visit Hell Fire Pass Memorial Burma and Elephant Camp

    Meals: Breakfast - Lunch
    You will be offered breakfast at the hotel. We will continue to visit Hell Fire Pass Memorial Burma-Thailand Railway and the cutting mountain for the railway trail, which was constructed by prisoners of the World War II. Then MinMax Travel’s tour guide will take you to Elephant Camp by bamboo rafting along the rushing stream of Kwai Noi River for an exciting elephant ride through the jungle. A Picnic lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, we will return back to the hotel with the remainder of the day free for you to take at your leisure. Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

    Day 3 - Transfer to airport for your departure flight.

  • Day 1 - Siem Reap Arival

    Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to a hotel. Siem Reap is the base for exploring the fabled temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. On arrival, begin a tour to the temples that includes the early-Angkor era temples of the Rolous Group – Preah Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei. In the afternoon, continue going to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Return to hotel after watching the sun set at Phnom Bakheng. Stay overnight in Siem Reap.

    Day 2 - Angkor Wat

    After breakfast, spend the morning on an extensive tour of the magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat; Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. In the afternoon, go to Battambang which is a charming riverside town full of French-colonial architecture. Even though Battambang is Cambodia's second largest city, you will find that the atmosphere is very laid-back and a big change from the capital city. Stay overnight in Battambang.

    Day 3 - Battambang

    Spend today exploring Battambang's countryside, a real taste of the natural beauty and traditional lifestyle common in rural Cambodia. Travel out to Phnom Sampeau, once home to notorious killing caves, but now a tranquil place for viewing the surrounding landscapes. Continue through fruit plantations to the hilltop temple of Wat Banan followed by an exciting ride on the local bamboo train. This afternoon, continue through the countryside to visit cottage industries like rice paper production, weaving centers and even a fish paste factory. Return to town this evening for a fantastic local dinner at the town's best restaurant. Stay overnight in Battambang.

    Day 4 - Siem Reap Depature

    Meals: Breakfast
    This morning, you are free to relax at the hotel or to discover Battambang on your own until transfer to Siem Reap for your flight.
