Sukhothai in Depth 3 days / 2 nights

Come join MinMax Travel as we journey into the glorious past on this Thailand tour of Sukhothai in Depth. Learn what’s behind the Buddha’s mysterious smile on a tour of ancient Sukhothai. A city where orderly canals trail below sugar palms and frangipani blossoms, Sukhothai is an enchanting city filled with temples and monuments. A stop in Sukhothai is an essential part of any Thailand tour.

The style of these buildings with their distinctive grace and the tranquil expressions of the Buddha images contained here, have made the Sukhothai synonymous with this particular style of Buddhist art.
The 13th Century founding of Sukhothai lead to a blossoming of Thai culture and arts, making it no surprise that the city’s name means ‘dawn of happiness.’ Nearly abandoned 140 years later, Sukhothai has recently been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and has undergone extensive work to restore it to its historical grandeur.
